Leo Joseph Sexton (August 27, 1909 – September 6, 1968) was an American athlete who mainly competed in the shot put.

He was born in Danvers, Massachusetts and died in Perry, Oklahoma.

He competed for the United States at the 1932 Summer Olympics held in Los Angeles, United States, where he won the gold medal in the men's shot put. Sexton was the world record holder in this event for nearly a month in 1932.
